Serial Number - 055321 Klepper no longer makes this shorter single seater model - the current single seater in production is the longer Aerius I 490. This kayak comes included with 2 packing bags, rubber moulded alu framed 'Comfort' bottom seat and backrest, spare paddle, and one piece spraydeck.with integrated waistskirt. The entire kayak is immaculate with hardly any marks on the varnish or the skin - it appears as if the owner packed the boat away soon after delivery. Klepper Aerius I 450 'Klepper SYST' Expedition, Orange - Ref 098DR A very immaculate condition rare 'STST Klepper' version that was produced in limited numbers during the initial years when Kleppers were being produced under license by H. S. Walther GmbH at Rosenhiem. This period was when HS Walter tried to introduce new ideas, materials etc, hence the unusual deck colour and lighter fabrics used on this kayak. Hardly been used, hull unmarked. A discerning collector's kayak. Both the frame and the kayak's skin are in top notch very clean condition. Includes spray deck with marine compass holder, Silva marine compass, waist skirt, cockpit cover, leaf rudder, rudder pedals, and 2 pack bags. There are separate pieces of shock cords with close fitting hooks for 'criss cross nets', utilising the D-rings that are on the kayak's bow and stern decks. More photos here Price - £TBA |

Klepper T6-48- Ref 090RM Frame only - good condition. Most pole rubber seats needs replacing. (can be supplied / replaced) This model was in production between 1948-58. The predecessor to the following T9-59 (1959-1975) model of the same length and width. These two models did not have sponsons. Klepper T66 Slalom- Ref 053ME This is a rare very good condition slalom kayak which has hardly been used, given the lack of wear and tear for its age. This particular model was only produced around 1958-59. Included is the rare waist skirt, also in excellent condition plus the two pack bags. There are no marks / damage on the hull. A rare opportunity to buy a wooden framed folder in good condition.. An excellent kayak with a black Hypalon hull with 4 x 6cm keel strips, and Wayland's "Expedition" style deck fittings which includes small shovel / axe pockets (Hypalon), front deck paddle pockets / holders, front side pannier bags, and rear side PET bottle holders. Complete with standard seat, spray deck with integrated waist skirt, and steering system (rudder pedals, steering lines and rudder). Klepper Aerius II 520 Anniversary Edition, Blue - Ref 081JT - SOLD A well looked after kayak - in immaculate condition. Purchased new from a UK dealer in 2005. This kayak was widely used as a sailing kayak, mostly in fresh water, up till 2011 when unfortunately the wife suffered a work related back injury and the kayak has hardly been used since. Unmarked skin and frame - clean throughout with the kayak's skin being folded loosely. Owner always packed away the frame pieces in bubble wrap so the frame is relatively unmarked. Includes tandem spraydeck, rudder system and packing bags. This kayak came with a Balogh Batwing BOSS sail rig / outrigger - not included in the price of this kayak but a special deal will be considered if both this kayak and the BOSS Batwing sail,system are brought together! Klepper Aerius II 520 Classic (H. S. Walther GmbH)- Ref 040MS Complete with frame, skin, spray deck, waist skirts, and steering system. Produced during the early 1980's when Klepper was being produced under license by H. S. Walther GmbH. Identified by the hexagonal Klepper logo. This particular frame has the long plywood covered floorboard version, intended for sailing purposes, unlike the more common ladder like floorboards (panels with gaps). The frame is in a very immaculate condition. The pole rubber seats is of the newer black version, all in very good condition and will not need to be replaced for a long time.. The hull of the kayak skin shows no abrasive marks. There are 4 x 6cm wide keel strips which appears to have been added at some point after the original kayak purchase in the Netherlands - these keel strips are peeling on the edges and needs re-gluing (we will fix this). The bow and stern end caps have "perished" (bubbled from heat?) but appears to not to need replacing at the present time. The spray deck is of the clip on type, with all clips intact. Some sealing tape has come off, just needs re-gluing. The waist skirts are in excellent condition, showing no signs of usage. Includes full steering system - rudder and pedals. The steering cables is plastic coated in fair condition This kayak has been well looked after, giving the appearance that it has hardly been used. Two original packing bags - long frame bag and the skin 'backpack' bag are both in excellent condition. The owner used a separate nylon bag as the third bag to hold the small frame parts, and the steering system . More photos here Price - £900.00 |

Klepper Aerius II 520 Classic, Blue - Ref 033SM - SOLD Complete with frame, skin, and steering system. A mix of old and new - previous owner replaced the original wooden back rests with newer version rubber backrests, newer rudder pedals and a newer rear wider keel board frame. The kayak skin is also a replacement skin being newer than the original frame - this replacement skin was purchased from Klepper many years ago and appears to be custom made on request as it has a rare open style paddle blade pockets and canvas strap paddle shaft holders on the rear deck only - as if the owner wanted to customise his boat for solo sailing. The seat bottoms have also been "modified" with home made canvas covered cushions (stiff HD foam inner). This kayak came with sail rigs - to be sold separately. Includes full steering system - rudder and pedals. As expected with age, we will replace the steering cables with new wire or para cord. The kayak has been carefully stored fully assembled and covered in a dry boat club boat shed, next to a lake. Last usage was possibly about 10 years ago More photos here Price - SOLD |

Klepper Aerius II 520 Classic - Ref 020CL Complete with frame and skin. Includes spray deck and steering system. Overall, this kayak is in very good condition and comes with well made "Four Seasons" kayak bags that were replaced the original bags a few years ago. As often happens with certain manufactured pole rubber seats with age, some have perished and so all seats will be replaced with new ones. The End Post had snapped in half and was loosely "repaired" by the previous owner with steel plates - this frame part, we will replace with a good condition used spare. The previous owner had made some padding and covers for the back rests and had glued some High Density CC foam onto the wooden backrest. This padding is difficult to remove, so this will be left as is, as home made new or used covers is the best and easiest solution. One of the home made back rest covers has a tear - unusable. The previous owner also made a repair to the stern central keel board paneling with an extra pieces of plywood on both sides - this appears to be be good. Spray deck is of the single piece type, with integrated waist skirts. The spray deck is attached to the cockpit coaming with clips. Includes full steering system - rudder and pedals. Klepper Aerius II 520 Classic- Ref 006SW Complete with frame and skin. The kayak has a personal name "Susi" printed on the bow, this can be removed. Klepper Aerius II 520 'Klepper SYST' Expedition Olive - Ref 080AC Produced during the early 1980's when Klepper was being produced under license by H. S. Walther GmbH. Identified by the hexagonal Klepper logo and the prefix 'Klepper SYST' on the kayak's stern. Forward thinking HS Walther tried to "breathe new life" into the range of civilian model Kleppers, one of which was the introduction of new deck colours, from the previous traditional blue. These new variants had the 'Klepper SYST' prefix in front of the Aerius name, but this project was short lived - lasted about 5-6 years, before reverting back to only offering kayaks in Blue and Red and dropping the SYST name.. This Olive Green SYST model is an adaptation of the NATO Mk13 military model as issued to military units around the world. This "downgraded" version still has the same heavy duty hypalon, and deck layout, but with standard sponsons (not quattro) and plain varnished frame. Well used, well traveled, but well maintained. The frame is in very good condition and the hull has no serious damage apart from the usual scrapes as would be expected from lots of usage. The owner has made a DIY solid backrest as shown in the photos - the original backrest is still available. The original deck rigging appears to have been removed and replaced with newer thicker rope. Complete with rudder, rudder pedals, footrest (for front paddler) and 3 pack bags, all in good condition. This kayak did come with a tuck-under olive green spray deck, complete with waist skirts and cockpit covers. The elastics on the waist skirts has stretched so that they will not hold on firmly on the cockpit rims. This accessory set is separate to the kayak and is not included in the kayak price. In fair to good condition. The starboard side canvas deck suffered some damage - a previous owner has repaired with a large patch. Also there is a small patch on the hull and another small patch on the port side deck. The black frame is in good condition. One pole stringer and an alu clip lock needs replacing. A small repair job is needed near one of the washboard hinges - wood has split. A sponson needs replacing. The kayak skin is missing carry toggles / handles on the Bow and Stern. Klepper Aerius II 545 Classic, Red- Ref 051AR Purchased as new at the Klepper Rosenhiem factory in 2015 and brought back to the UK the same year, this Classic with the light grey CSM hull has hardly been used since, all of which was on inland waters around the London area (Thames & Wye). This kayak comes with Ergonomic (inflatable) backrests attached to the rubber molded bottom seats, and footrests. This kayak is in an immaculate condition, in the frame, the skin and the three packing bags. Klepper Aerius II 545 Quattro with rear Loading Hatch, Red- Ref 097AN Serial No. - 055364. Purchased as new in the UK and has minimal usage since purchase. Quattro (2 pairs of sponsons) versions are made with lighter TPU hulls, unlike the Classic versions which are made with heavier and tougher CSM / Hypalon - a weight saving of approx 2kg. The AEII 545 cockpit is 10 inches longer than the well known AEII 520 that's been around for years, so more leg room for the rear paddler. This Quattro has a handy rear loading hatch. The Quattro version, like the EXP version usually have paddle pockets on the stern deck, instead there are straps to secure paddle blades as well as the usual toggles to hold the paddle shafts. One single wide central keelstrip. The kayak frame is in very good condition overall. Due to an accident with some off-shore rocks, the TPU hull was damaged - minor tears have since been professionally and well repaired so there are some patches and scratch marks. One side gunwale ladder frame had cracked - to be repaired. Complete with a foot rest for the front paddler, rudder pedals, comfort rudder, spray deck and 3 pack bags. Klepper T6 Wanderzweier, Red- Ref 082JF Originally purchased in 1937 and used for surveying the UK canal networks. This model was produced between 1936-39 - the predecessor of the more common upgraded improved version 'Klepper T6-48' which came out after WWII. Received a new replacement skin in 1960. Klepper TS2, Black (TPU) - Ref 049SB Complete with original frame but with a new specially made lightweight (TPU) replacement skin. Reproduced a few years ago (but never used) especially for the Devizes to Westminster International Canoe race (Folding Boat Class) as this kayak model has one of the fastest shaped hull for marathons, being the narrowerest and longest model tandem Klepper ever made (5.5 x 0.78m). This model has no sponsons hence the narrow beam - bow and stern buoyancy bags is required as per DW racing rules. This kayak will still float if filled with water - the TS2 frame set has slightly more wood compared to the current day Klepper Aerius tandems. Large rubberised carry handles were specially fitted, as well as wo large pairs of D-Rings for hoisting straps (to aid at awkward portages). Seats are the original wooden seats - latter & current rubberised seats still fit. Spray deck / waist skirts not included - spray decks for the common Klepper Aerius II 520 fits this boat. Other brands - Wayland Amazon 520 Expedition - Ref 091RS An early version Wayland Amazon 520 that used an all-in-one frame design concept where the bow and stern keel frames sections has a fixed end post with the side gunwale frames attached to that end post. EG the side gunwale frames, end post and the keel frame is in one unit. This is the Expedition version which includes holders for a small spade, and an axe on the bow deck (hypalon pockets). Also on the bow deck are paddle pockets / holders for a split paddle. The stern deck has a rear loading hatch, and on top of that loading hatch is an integrated storage bag. On the the front side decks, there is a pair of pannier type bags, and on the rear side decks, a pair of PET bottle holders. The kayak skin is in decent condition given its age. Other brands - Wayland Amazon II 520 Extended EXP, Blue - with 4.5sqm Lateen upwind sail rig and outrigger- Ref 084RB This model folding kayak is an modified version of the normal Wayland Amazon II 520 where the original cockpit has been made longer by extending rearwards to make it a 3 seater. The original owner also purchased a matching Wayland Upwind Sail Rig with Leeboards, plus a matching outrigger and a few other extra accessories. The EXP version includes paddle holders on the front deck, and front side storage panniers. Two pairs of extra large D-rings have been added to aid lifting / lowering of the kayak in tricky locations - EG harbour quays (need lifting straps or ropes for this - not included). Apart from the very rear special seat, there are four possible seat positions to place the two standard seats, offering the best seat placements when using the boat as a normal kayak and when using the boat as a sailing kayak. The outrigger inflatable floats is made with the same hypalon and blue deck canvas as used on the kayak itself. An Alu shafted 2 piece paddle holds the Ama's off the outrigger bridge. The wide outrigger bridge holds some essential cleats and eyelets - being made of wood, its easy to add on extra fittings to extend and improve the sailing experience. Included are 4 standard backrests (different widths), 3 seat bottoms, 2 colour matching Comfort seats, spraydeck, sea sock, and a rudder set.. The Comfort seats strap to the existing standard seats. Also there are two wooden split paddles in immaculate condition and other accessories - EG storage bags. This folding kayak is In an excellent condition overall, with the gaff & jib sail rig and outrigger in immaculate condition (as if it has not been used at all).
